Have you heard about the Weird Naked Chicken breed

Naked Chicken was developed to be featherless so it can stand the excessive heat. The chicken was developed in Hebrew University Israel by Avigdor Cahaneress to have a far less sensitive chicken to high temperature. The naked chicken in mass production is thought to reduce a lot of processes, including the use of water to pluck the feather. The crossbreed of stewing chicken and featherless fowls received a lot of criticisms from animal rights groups as well as a number of scientists. Not surprisingly, there are many people objecting the use of this breed, reasoning that featherless chickens suffer more than normal ones (already) do. For instance, they are more susceptible to parasites, mosquito bites and sunburns. The San 'Bushmen '  also known as Khwe, Sho, and Basarwa are the oldest inhabitants of southern Africa, (and are part of the Khoisan group), where they have lived for at least 20,000 years. They are hunter-gatherer peoples of southern Africa. Genetic evidence also suggests the San Bushmen are one of the oldest peoples in the world. Their home is in the vast expanse of the Kalahari desert. The Bushmen are the remnants of Africa's oldest cultural group, genetically the closest surviving people to the original Homo sapiens “core” from which the Negroid people of Africa emerged. Bushmen are small in stature generally with light yellowish skin, which wrinkles very early in life. Bushmen traditionally lived in Southern Africa in the following countries, although virtually none live purely by hunting and gathering today: Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Angola, with loosely related groups in Tanzania. Covid19 lockdown:As kano prepares for the Nightmare.

Ever since the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Nigeria,this disease has continue to permeate most states in Nigeria and as it was dreadly anticipated,Nigeria's most populous state;Kano,had it first index case  six days ago.Barely one week  after it was reported,the number of infected cases seems to increase at fast pace more than many states that had had it first case,weeks before it.The rising spate has invited apprehension to the city owing to it's huge population,mass illiteracy and overt ignorance. To curtail the whirl wind of Covid-19,the state government has decided to emulate it's counterparts in taking giant and bold steps by gazetting lockdown in the state.The lockdown wasn't a surprise but it came as a blow to the residents. Only a two- day notice was given prequel to the lockdown. The news of the impending lockdown threw the city  into a period of frenzied commercial activities,as people engaged in panic buying   of household  consumables....
